About the Shirley Jackson Awards

Book categories only: Novel, Novella, Single-Author Collection and Edited Anthology (the 2007-2008 Collection and Anthology categories are filed under the later names). Year is the award year the body uses (the "2007 Shirley Jackson Awards" honor 2007 books and were presented in July 2008). Winners and nominees come from the award's own winners pages (2007-2022) and nominee announcements (2023-2025). Nominees are Finalist through 2016 and Nominee from 2017, matching the page wording. The 2017 and 2019 winners pages list winners only, so those years' nominees come from the Science Fiction Awards Database (sfadb.com). Novellas that were not published as standalone books (stories inside collections, anthologies, magazines, or online only on Tor.com) are excluded, so Novella counts can be lower than the page lists.
