About the Ignyte Awards

Year is the award year the body uses (the "2025 Ignyte Awards" were presented in 2025 for 2024 works); 2020 is the first year. Book categories only: Novel - Adult, Novel - Young Adult, Middle Grade (Best in MG, later Outstanding Middle Grade), Anthology/Collected Works (author field holds the editors or the collection's author), and Novella and Creative Nonfiction only where the work was a standalone book. Novellas and essays published in magazines, the Comics Team category, poetry, short fiction, and people/organization awards are skipped. Lists and winners come from FIYAH's results pages; title casing (the 2022-2023 pages print titles in capitals) and standalone-book status come from sfadb.com (Locus Science Fiction Foundation).

Organization: FIYAH Literary Magazine. Years are award years, which can differ from publication years. Official site (opens in a new tab)
