According to Publishers Weekly, all the calculations are based on shipped-and-billed figures supplied by publishers for new books issued in 2006 and 2007 and reflect only 2007 domestic trade sales. The books in the Harry Potter series are excluded “because of the way AAP [Assoc of American Publishers] measures industry sales. The organization takes actual sales from 81 reporting companies (including Potter publisher Scholastic) and then uses Census Bureau data to extrapolate sales for the entire industry. In the past, the inclusion of Potter has distorted growth (and, in non-Potter years, the decline) of the children’s category.”

What do you think? Answer below!

2000 – The Brethren by John Grisham
2008 – The Appeal by John Grisham
John Grisham is a best selling author. Tom Clancy is a best selling author as is James Patterson. I don’t keep up with Danielle Steele.
Gosh! For once I can’t give a source. My sources would be everything from online to written media.
